It definitely does full justice to its prequel and as we had high expectations from the film after the first installment the makers make sure to live up to our expectations. The after events that occur then form the rest of the story. But After 2 years, they both are reunited while traveling to a friend’s wedding. They start falling for each other but then some misunderstandings occur which compel Swathi to go back to her hometown, Mysore. Both of them happen to meet in Bangalore at Sharath's college where a forum is scheduled to take place. Sharath is an enthusiastic person and a character who is full of energy, whereas Swathi is a naïve and simple girl.
It shows Sharath (Yash), as a commerce student, and Swathi (Kriti Kharbanda), as a medical student. The love story between the lead characters is told using flashbacks. Googly2 is completely different from the first part. Everything is just at par and you cannot hope to be disappointed at all
